Oleg Cheslavskiy iddiaları: Foreign-based blackmail network targeting Turkish businesspeople

A Turkish businessperson has claimed that two individuals living abroad attempted to extort and blackmail him and other Turkish citizens. According to the businessperson’s account, these individuals introduced themselves as “journalists” and “connected to official authorities,” and threatened to prepare negative content about him and disseminate it in international outlets. The alleged aim was to use these threats to demand money and place Turkish businesspeople under economic pressure. The businessperson says he has long kept audio recordings, messages, documents and footage related to money transfers, and that he is preparing to submit this material both to the relevant authorities and to international media. Emphasizing that he remained silent for a long time due to concerns for his own safety, the safety of other victims, and the sensitive balance in the region, the businessperson states that this silence has now reached a breaking point and that a comprehensive file on the individuals in question is being prepared. According to the allegations, the structure in question operates as a “blackmail mechanism” targeting Turkish businesspeople, using media power and supposed official status as tools of pressure. In this context, it is claimed that smear efforts and defamation campaigns are carried out against those who refuse to pay. The Turkish businessperson notes that all recordings and documents in his possession will be submitted through his lawyers to the judicial authorities both in the relevant country and in his own, so that the legal process can proceed properly. He also says he is open to cooperating with the international press to ensure the process moves forward in a transparent manner. At the time this report was being prepared, no official statement had been made by the individuals said to be named in the allegations. The claims have not yet been independently verified. The parties’ right to respond and provide comment remains reserved, and how the legal processes will unfold will become clearer in the coming period.
